Live at the London Palladium…. YOU!!!

Are you a singer-songwriter bursting with words and music just waiting for a chance to shine?

As a professional with over 50 years experience Ralph McTell is all too aware of the precarious career of a musician, and getting an opportunity to appear in front of a receptive audience isn’t easy.

In order to offer a chance for young talent to shine in front of a friendly crowd, Ralph is inviting applications from anyone with original material, either a soloist or duo, to perform at an ‘open mic’ format at any of his shows this Autumn.

Ralph will choose his favourite performer of the tour as the opening act for his London Palladium show on October 28th and he will pay for return train tickets and hotel accommodation that night.

How to enter:
• Just email a link of you performing your own material from YouTube (do not send sound files; they won’t be accepted)
• include your name and contact details
• put the venue of your choice in the subject line – Ralph’s upcoming tour
dates are here, please note Newquay is not included.

You are welcome to select more than one venue, but make sure you’re
available for all the dates you apply for, and that you can get there!

You will only be selected for one venue.

Ralph’s team will select the best 3/4 applicants for each venue – time
constraints mean we are only able to cater for soloists or duos playing
acoustic instruments. Those chosen will get a chance to play 2-3 songs.
You can include a cover version in your set but Ralph is really keen to
showcase new songwriters and their work.

The Palladium set will last approximately 20-25 minutes so make sure you
have enough material.
