By Parliamentary Approval
Ralph was recently honoured by the All Party Folk Music Group of the House of
Commons with a special award ceremony. In addition to a bottle of whiskey he
received a plaque with the commons seal and the inscription “Awarded
to Ralph McTell by Parliament to celebrate his lifetime's contribution to folk
music.” This is only the second time this award has been made. The previous
recipient was Tom Paxton.
In between debates and division bells, Ralph performed a number of songs during
the short ceremony for the benefit of a select audience of MP's, parliamentary
workers, invited guests, Lords and Ladies.

Davey Graham
Ralph just heard that the guitarist

Davey Graham as the single most important guitarist
in the whole accoustic guitar movement. Ralph

Angie on tour.
